The Cube's magic allows certain items to be transmuted into other items. Afterwards, Deckard Cain spent years researching the Cube and uncovering its secrets. They utilized the cube to meet their goals. Long after the time of the Horadrim, the cube was obtained by a group of heroes that pursued the Dark Wanderer. By later utilizing these elements within the cube, they could reassemble the original item. The Horadrim preserved important artifacts and equipment by separating them into the component parts for future use. The Horadric Cube operates via the principles of transmutation and alchemy. The Horadric Cube was then created in its stead. However, the original Cube was marred by dark methods and disastrous results, resulting in the order quickly determining that it was too dangerous for anyone to continue using. However, it is known that the Cube stemmed from a more powerful version. Ethereal versions of this weapon are highly sought after, especially when used in melee.The Horadrim and/or their writings were vague when it came to the origins of the Horadric Cube. While the 5-9% Life Stolen Per Hit is a nice added bonus, it doesn't really amount to much because most of the damage dealt by Javazons is Lightning Damage.ĭespite the fact that this weapon is an exceptional rather than an elite unique, Titan's Revenge is generally considered the best unique javelin in the game for player versus monster, especially if upgraded to a Matriarchal Javelin. The increased stack size is also very nice because it reduces the number of trips required to repair the weapon. In some ways, Titan's Revenge is superior to Thunderstroke because it replenishes quantity, increases the player's run/walk speed, and provides a large bonus to dexterity and strength. Unlike its sister unique javelin, Thunderstroke, Titan's Revenge gives more consistent bonuses to all Javelin and Spear Skills, and is ideal for Javazons that specialize in Poison Skills and those specifically using Lightning Fury. Titan's Revenge is a unique Ceremonial Javelin from Diablo II.
